The audience of social coordinators of the branch of the State Fund for Support of Participants in the special Military Operation “Defenders of the Fatherland” in the Republic of Bashkortostan, veterans of the special military operation; experts of the All-Russian Society of the Disabled; representatives of organizations and institutions actively involved in the socialization and adaptation of disabled people in the special military operation, noted the importance and significance of the project.
Anna Tsivileva, State Secretary – Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Defenders of the Fatherland State Foundation, expressed her support for the idea of the “Own Power” project, which helps not only to cope with their problems, but also to learn how to help others.
The project lives and develops, and most importantly, we know about its real benefits from our participants, coordinators and psychologists-moderators.
The first month of the project, which started on October 1, 2024, has already shown that training in psychological counseling practices in a warm, friendly atmosphere with the involvement of the best experts helps the wives, mothers, daughters and sisters of the victims to gain inner strength and learn how to help others using techniques and their own experience.

THE PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT
To help the family members of the participants of the SVO in acquiring new skills through professional retraining and gaining a life support.
THE UNIQUENESS OF THE PROJECT
Free training in the basics of peer counseling.
Mastering and applying psychological self-help practices.
THE TRAINING PROGRAM
Free educational program “Socio-psychological support for families of participants of the SVO in the conditions of modern Russia” 348 academic hours. The training format is hybrid for 7 months: online theoretical part and offline practical part with face-to-face meetings for working out assignments and independent work.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Formation of students’ knowledge and skills of socio-psychological and peer counseling in special conditions.
Formation of basic knowledge about methodology and the most important theoretical positions and concepts in the consulting process.
Working out your psychological state, active self-help in achieving psychological balance.
Formation of the basic universal principles, techniques and procedures of socio-psychological counseling.
The study of the laws of interpersonal relations in the process of counseling people in difficult situations.
